Steven Grady
Steve holds a B.A. from the University of California at San Diego. He also holds a M.B.A. and a J.D. from the University of San Diego. Steve was certified to practice law by the supreme court of California and the U.S. District Court. Steve first practiced law with an emphasis in real estate in San Diego. Subsequently, he served as general counsel for a large real estate development company and the managing partner of numerous commercial real estate projects in Southern California. From 1987 to 1998 Steve was a fifty percent partner in Triarc; a San Diego based commercial and residential development company. Triarc successfully developed over 250,000 sf of retail, office, industrial, specialty car wash and residential properties despite the difficult real estate market conditions of the late eighties and early nineties in Southern California. In 1998 Steve teamed with David Church to form The Focus Group specializing in the development of single tenant retail properties. The Focus Group has successfully completed over 50 projects, totaling over 1 million square Feet with an average ROI in excess of 110%. |

David Church
David attended the University of Arizona where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. Upon completion of his degree from U of A, David was hired by CB Richard Ellis to support the retail division in the Phoenix office. David worked his way through the ranks to become a sales agent specializing in the representation of national retailers. While at CB Richard Ellis, David, during his tenure at CB earned the honor of Rookie of the Year as the top producing first year agent. David represented several national retailers such as Boston Market, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Just for Feet, Hollywood Video and Rubio’s Baja Grill. Starting in 1996, David’s tenant background led him to work as a Director of Real Estate for Hollywood Video, responsible for opening stores in Arizona, Nevada and California. In 1998 David recognized the vast opportunities available in the build-to-suit development niche targeting the needs of national retailers. He teamed with Steve Grady to form The Focus Group and have since successfully completed over 50 projects including such notable retailers as Walgreens, Tutor Time, Fox & Hound, Goodyear, Autozone, Buffalo Wild Wings and Starbucks. |

Mark J. Goethals
Mark Goethals obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the Indiana University School of Business with majors in Finance and Economics in 1987. Mark joined Radnor Corporation in 1988. Radnor was a wholly owned real estate investment subsidiary of a major oil company. As the executive member of a Joint Venture team in charge of financial analysis, he was directly involved in the acquisition, planning and subsequent development of commercial buildings totaling over 500,000 sf, retail centers totaling over 950,000 sf, 12 residential projects totaling more than 1,700 units and two land development projects totaling more than 2,600 lots. In the early nineties, when the Radnor real estate portfolio was in distress, Mark obtained his contracting license and became “responsible managing employee” for Radnor West Corporation. In 1997 Mark formed Legacy Development with Steve Grady to develop land, multifamily and single family projects. He has acted as Project Manager/Contractor of Record for $200MM+ in assets through completion and divestment. |

Jack Csernits
Jack has 38 years of Commercial Banking and Asset and Wealth Management experience at JP Morgan (formerly Bank One, NBD, and National Bank of Detroit) Michigan. Over the years, Jack served as a Member of the Board of Directors at NBD Bank, Michigan and held senior management positions in a variety of businesses,
including: Market Manager Middle Market Commercial Lending South East Michigan, Commercial Real Estate Lending Michigan, Asset Based Lending Michigan, Foreign Corporate Michigan, and Correspondent Banking Michigan. Other leadership positions during his banking career included: Head of National Commercial Banking for the Western United States, and Head of NBD Bank Corporate Cash Management.
For the last four years, Jack was the Senior Managing Director and Investment Principal for JP Morgan Private Bank and Wealth Management in Michigan. His responsibilities included all of JP Morgan Private Banking business in South East Michigan; helping individuals and families grow, manage, and sustain wealth. These offices were comprised of the Investment, Trust, Financial Planning, Private Banking and Estate settlement businesses. Jack holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority licenses Series 7, 9, 10, 24, 63, and 65. Jack has been actively involved in a number of charitable organizations and was the Chairman of the JP Morgan Chase Michigan Charitable Foundation. |

Phil Bramsen
Phil is a founding partner of MBA Commercial Real Estate located in Chandler, AZ. He has been active in the commercial real estate industry for the last ten years and holds current broker’s licenses in numerous states. Prior to his brokerage career, Phil owned and managed several retail/wholesale automotive aftermarket businesses operating throughout the Western US. This automotive background has enabled him to foster many strong relationships and led to the representation of automotive clients for their new store and development programs. His experience as a small business owner/manager has helped him develop exceptional management, communication and organizational skills, as well as a hands-on working knowledge of financial statements. He has completed hundreds of real estate transactions while representing National, Regional, and Local Tenants, as well as landlords and investors. He has partnered with The Focus Group for most of his real estate career and combined with Steve Grady and David Church to develop numerous automotive projects. He is a graduate of The University of Arizona and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Sasha Zhang
Sasha Zhang is an Argus Certified Member, LEED Accredited Professional and the winner of a national Real Estate competition. Sasha joined The Focus Group with a focus on financial analysis, acquisitions, and underwritings for commercial properties. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from the University of South Dakota. Sasha attended University of San Diego and is the candidate for Dual Degree of Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Real Estate. In 2008, Sasha received Argus Software Certification and was the runner-up for USD Business Plan Competition. In 2009, Sasha and his team receive the top honor in a national real estate competition (the 2009 Argus Software University Challenge). |

Brian LaGrange
A 20-plus year veteran of the golf and hospitality industries, joined The Focus Group in 2009. Brian was most recently the managing director of the Grand Del Mar Resort, which was completed in mid-2007. LaGrange oversaw day-to-day operations for The Grand Golf Club, The Grand Del Mar's private championship golf course, as well as sales and marketing activities for The Villas at The Grand Del Mar, a residential enclave within the new luxury resort. Before his tenure at The Grand, LaGrange was V.P. of Operations for The Club at Pronghorn, a golf community outside of Bend, Ore. He also was general manager of and helped launch the Santa Lucia Preserve, (the #1 nationally rated golf community in 2006) an exclusive 20,000-acre golf community on the Monterey Pensinsula. |
